The Ministry of Narcotics Control (MNC) is determined to exterminate the menace of drugs. It is actively engaged on various fronts including but not limited to drug demand reduction, drug supply reduction and international cooperation. Due to the relentless efforts of the Ministry and its attached department i.e. the Anti Narcotics Force (ANF), Pakistan has been maintaining “Poppy Free Status” since 2001. However, there is no denying the fact that still lot more efforts are required to make Pakistan a “Drug Free State”. And, most important is the task to keep our youth away from drug abuse.

We have to join hands against this social evil to purge the society from narcotics and synthetic drugs. I urge people from all walks of life to come forward and take part to combat the menace of drugs while considering it a shared responsibility.
